Welcome
There are many tales, in this world. One of the most well known, is that of Naruto. This young, blond boy, who happens to hold the nine-tailed fox within him, has since come a long way from his prankster days. Now, he's the pride of Konoha. He had been one of the most liked contestants in the Chunin Exams, and he also had been there in order to bring down the Akatsuki. Yes, his tale is one that we all know, but there are also many other stories that have not been told. This is Naruto, Ninja Gaiden, where we take a look at all of these untold stories, and tell them to all that are willing to listen.

Pandora walked slowly down the road. It had been a while since he last walked here. In fact, it had been over ten years since he had. 'I doubt anyone misses me.' He thought to himself. It was a known rule that feelings didn't help one as a ninja, and the Shikari took this to an extreme. While he was a kid, he'd get beaten every day when he didn't do something right. But that's how they got stronger, tougher. In order to become strong, one must grow up in pain and torture, truly knowing what the world is like. Sadly, this was what the Shikari believed.

'Sniff...mommy...please...I can't take anymore...' A young boy said through his tears. His back was bloody, and a woman was standing over him with a kunai in her hands. More tears sprang up as the woman brought the kunai up, preparing to bring it right back down. 'NO!' He tried shielding himself, but it was no use. The kunai pushed past his arms and right into his back. Crying out in pain, the boy fell to the ground, crying, and unable to do anything else.

'Pathetic. You're not fit to be a ninja.' The woman said, turning and walking out the door. Voices could be heard, and eventually a man came in, this time he was holding the kunai. His face was calm, and cold. Kicking the kid onto his back, the man pressed the kunai into the boy's stomach. Still, with a calm face, the man did it again and again, causing more pain, until finally, he stood up and walked out of the room.

Left alone, the boy spat up some blood, and started becoming dizzy. Everything around him seemed to be sliding sideways, but he was unable to do anything about it. Too much pain was in his body to do so. 'Why...' He muttered before passing out. As he did, a medical nin entered, prepared to heal the wounds, until the next time when the poor boy messed up.

Looking straight ahead, Pandora kept on walking. His memory of his childhood was forced from his head, hoping that he was doing the right thing, coming back to this village. Of course, he always had the opportunity to turn back now. He still had a day before he entered the village, and he probably wouldn't be noticed if he left now. But...by leaving now he would just be admitting that he was weak, and that was something he was not going to do.

Rika nearly fell out of her perch in a tree when she saw the boy coming. 'What the hell?' She should have heard him. 'Did I space out or is that kid really that quiet?' She looked him over intently, 'A ninja maybe? Yeah that must be it.' She thought silently, there would be no other way he had gotten that close to her without her noticing.

'Now a more important question was, was this boy dangerous to the mission, or related to the group of people tracking me in any way?' She thought to herself once again. She had been sent on a simple reckon mission. Her other squad member got them found out, and him and her other partner were dead. She barely got away, the bleeding shoulder would made it even harder to lose them. She was sloppy, and lucky she didn't lose movement in her arm.

She sighed, continuing to re-wrap the wound. She hissed, and quickly bit her tongue when she pulled the bandage a little too tight. 'There 'ya go Rika, draw attention to yourself why don't 'ya? Mhm that's definitely what you need when your good arm has limited movement.' She didn't admit it to herself but she was tired too. The men had been chasing her through three villages already. She barely had enough time to rest her eyes, much less sleep.

She lost them for now, but they were ninja and there were at least six. They would easily be able to split up into groups of two and find her. She could take on one fine when wounded, and three on a normal day but not too with a shoulder wound to her good arm.

The day had gone pretty slow for Torein as all he had been doing was wondering around not knowing which village he was close to. He was pretty sure that he was close Kiri but couldn't tell that for sure because he didn't know where he was. All he knew that the last place that he had been at was Nagi Island and had sailed over here. It wasn't like it mattered whether it was Kiri or not but he didn't want to run into his clan as he wasn't sure what they might say or do to him ever since he left the village and started wandering around. He was positive that his mother would be happy to see him but couldn't be sure what the others might do to him. The could attack him but that would be foolish seeing that he is stronger than most of them and was still one of the seven swordsmen of the mist. That title seemed to follow him everywhere he went for some reason causing most people to be scared of him and that caused him not to be allowed in certain villages. But that didn't affect him that much. He had a general idea where he would be welcomed. Konoha had been very warming to him not having their shinobi attack him and he did become friends with some of the ninja there.

All that time, while Torein was thinking about things, he didn't know that there were shinobi in front of him. Luckily for him, he stopped and looked up at the sky, a raindrop dropped from a leaf and fell into his eye causing him to snap out of his daydream. He raised one of his hands and placed it over his eye and started to rub it wondering what went into it. With his other eye, he looked around at his surroundings. First he looked up and saw some girl. He didn't know who it was but was pretty positive that she was a ninja but something was off about her. Torein wasn't sure what it was but wanted to find out. With that said, he looked to find a tree branch. When he finally found one, he walked half way up the tree and then jumped to the tree branch. Without trying to make as much sound as possible, he made his way over so that he was a few feet away from the girl.

He took a deep breathe in and placed one of his hands on his blade in case she did anything threatening. Before he said something, he noticed that she was injured which meant she probably was in a fight before. Unfortunately, he wasn't a med ninja so he couldn't do anything about it. "It looks like you are pretty injured there."

Pandora stopped dead in his tracks. He could hear them now, at least two people. The only reason why he'd even heard them was because of a voice. Something about an injury. 'Looks like I'm no longer alone. Hopefully they're not with the hunter-nin.' For the time being, he had the upper hand, since the two seemed to be distracted. Before he went into attack mode, he would first see what was going on. Also, this would be the perfect time to set up an attack. Taking out a water bottle, he poured some of the water out on the ground, being careful not to make too much noise. Now, making the neccessary hand seals, he prepared the jutsu. "Water Clone Jutsu." He whispered to himself. The water instantly began to take form, becoming an exact clone of him. Knowing that he didn't have much time, he leapt away, hiding in the trees.

Creeping through the grass, he spotted the two of them. One was obviously a woman, and hiding up in the trees. The other seemed to be a man, and from the looks of it, he was only mere feet from the woman. Obviously the two didn't know each other, but that didn't mean that they weren't deadly.
'Now, who could they be, and why would they stay hidden from me?' He wondered, pulling off his weapon pouch. Looking inside, he grimaced, noticing that he'd used all of them during his plan. If they turned out to not be enemies, then he would have a long day picking up all of the traps that he'd made.

Looking on down the road, he could see that his clone was laying on the ground now, resting. It was actually a ruse, to see if these people would attack or not. If they were enemy ninja, then that was something that they would surely do.
'Guess that just leaves me sitting here.' Pandora thought, placing his pouch back onto his leg.

"I'm fine," Rika said glaring down at the boy. She didn't take help from her pack and she definately wouldn't take help from a stranger. 'Dammit who the hell is this guy? Now not only do I have...wait where did the other guy go?' She wondered to herself looking around.

"It's only a flesh would. I'll get it healed up when I get home." She added jumping from her perch in the tree, poking the tips of her fingers into the palms of her hands to make sure the finger blades were fastened tightly and sharp enough for battle.

"Oh and thanks for that lovely speaking thing, you probobly just blew my cover." Rika said looking around nervously. 'Where the hell did that other guy go? And if he still was here why was he hiding? Who the hell was he?' She thought to herself as she continued to look around.

'I didn't think I saw either of those guys with the others so maybe neither of them are a compromise to the mission? Or maybe they were hiding while I fought the others...no because if they were they wouldn't have let me get away not with the scrolls at least. Maybe I could shift. I'm faster as a wolf I could carry the backpack with the scrolls in my mouth...' She thought shaking her head. There was no way that would work. So far neither of these two were a threat, wherever the other one was, and the other six hadn't found her yet.

'Hopefully they gave up somewhere near...no these scrolls are too important for them. If they find me I'll probobly end up having to kill them to safely be able to see Arashi again. And I can't leave him alone, or with that snake.' She thought cringing lightly at the thought of Arashi, a rabbit at heart, spending more than a month with Kimiko, the boa constrictor.

Pandora smiled, noticing that the woman knew that something was up. This meant that his attack would be all the more fun. Wrapped around his hands were ten strings, one for each finger. As a little boy he'd once met a puppet master ninja who taught him a few things, but obviously not enough to use an actual puppet. For what Pandora was about to do, one didn't need to have a puppet in order to succeed. Attached to the strings were paper bombs, all of which were scattered throughout the forest. Each one of these bombs were hidden so that one would look right over it without even knowing it. After all, that was the whole purpose. In fact, the woman was standing right above one of the bombs, and she didn't even know it. 'That would be poor way to go. I'll give her some time to explain herself.' He thought, summoning his jutsu. By using this jutsu, he would be able to make his voice come from all around, ensuring that the kunoichi wouldn't find his hiding place by sound.

"Tell me, who are you and what business do you have?" Pandora asked, smiling as he heard his voice echo throughout the forest. At least now he would get some solid answers. Looking up, he made sure to keep an eye on the other ninja too. This one seemed to be more of a fighter than the woman, but that didn't mean that she couldn't easily overpower him. 'It's about time that I use that jutsu.' He thought, as his strings touched the male's leg. 'Pandora no Jutsu!' Pandora used the jutsu, immediately feeling their chakra changing. The man wouldn't feel anything, and by the time the woman seemed about to answer, the jutsu was done. Rubbing his hands, Pandora felt his body already changing. The man didn't even seem to notice anything.
